Working with a ToC requires a capacity for critical reflection on the way you were used to looking at reality. Avoid a so-called ‘group thinking’ (the blinders of your sector); thinking in which, from the point of view of your expertise, you only pay attention to maintaining agreement and unity instead of making critical considerations.
The more varied the actors involved in the drafting of a ToC, the richer the dream and analysis. Increase reliability and legitimacy by working from the inclusivity principle: nothing about me, without me.
A ToC is not static and requires the willingness to regularly adjust the theory based on new information, experiences gained and changes in context.
