INTRODUCTION

In this unit, we provide a brief overview of the support opportunities and collaborations that establish the operation of social cooperatives. Get to know the

  • the possibilities and the financial basis of joining the business sector
  • EU and domestic support structures
  • other financing options
  • the importance of the role of institutional cooperation

 

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Completion of the curriculum will help the student to acquire the following skills and knowledge:

  • understanding of entrepreneurial attitude;
  • learning about the financing possibilities of social enterprises;
  • the ability to gather the opportunities needed to finance a social enterprises using the theoretical and conceptual knowledge learned;
  • learning about the importance of cooperation for sustainability;
  • understanding the difficulties of government subsidies;
  • resource coordination – the ability to spot and identify different funding opportunities;
  • general information on the operation, legality and difficulties of the support;
  • theoretical knowledge needed to coordinate different sources.
